The script of the play is written by the spiritual leader of the Caferi community and recorded by professional theatre actors. During the rehearsals the amateur Caferi actors move their lips to this recording.
Parts of this Ta’ziyeh (iranian for the special stage play that depicts the kerbala war) has been featured in the film “Ashura”
